DPRK state media released a documentary film on 21 December (Thursday) depicting the production, preparations and 12 December 2012 launch of the U’nha-3 rocket and the Kwangmyo’ngso’ng-3 (KMS-3.2) satellite. The film mainly serves as a vehicle to promote Kim Jong Un’s (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) close attention and management of the various technical and logistical aspects of the launch. It also shows KJU making inspection visits and other appearances previously unreported by the Korean Central News Agency and other DPRK state media.
The film shows Kim Jong Un visiting the Sanum-dong research and development campus, prior to being transported to the Sohae Space Center.
