Kim Jong Il Enjoys Performance Given by Art Groups of Employees

Pyongyang – General Secretary Kim Jong Il enjoyed a performance given by the art groups of employees of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and the February 8 Vinalon Complex.
Their colorful performance included numbers like “Appreciation with Loving Care”, “We Will Hold the General, Our Father in Higher Esteem” and “Vinalon, Pride of My Country”.
The performers enthusiastically sang of their happiness and pride of energetically making a breakthrough towards the building of an economic power as vanguard of revolution who have grown up under the loving care of Kim Jong Il. They also powerfully demonstrated the militant spirit of the heroic Korean workers dashing ahead like the wind towards the eminence of a thriving nation full of confidence and optimism about sure victory.
He expressed satisfaction over the splendid performance presented by them with numbers which are of great cognitional and instructive value as they truthfully represented their life. He highly appreciated their successful performance and extended thanks to them.
He advanced the tasks to be fulfilled to intensify the mass performing activities.
He expressed great expectation and belief that the working class of the DPRK who take the lead in upholding the cause of the party and the leader would make uninterrupted leap forward and innovations in production and construction, loudly beating the drum for the revolution in the future, too, as befitting a shock brigade in the drive for bringing about a signal improvement in the standard of people’s living and creators of new culture in the era of songun.
Among the audience were Kim Ki Nam and Hong Sok Hyong, members of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Kyong Hui, member of the Political Bureau and department director of the C.C., the WPK, Thae Jong Su, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., the WPK, Ju Kyu Chang, alternate member of the Political Bureau and department director of the C.C., the WPK, Kwak Pom Gi, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, and leading officials of the complexes.
