DPRK, Cuba Sign Economic and S & T Agreements

DPRK state media reported on 12 December (Wednesday) that the country signed a 2013 cooperation agreement on economics, science and technology with Cuba and 2013 trade agreement.  Signing the agreements on behalf of the DPRK was Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam and signing on behalf of the Cuban government was Cuba’s Ambassador to the DPRK Germán Hermín Ferras Álvarez.  The signing ceremony was also attended by DPRK “officials concerned,” according to KCNA.
