DPRK state media reported on 28 December (Saturday) that Premier Pak Pong Ju visited the construction of an airport terminal and apartment housing in Pyongyang. Pak toured the construction of Pyongyang Airport’s Terminal 2 so he could “take measures for its earlier completion.” Pak also toured the construction of an apartment complex in the Ryongso’ng-Sop’o area of Pyongyang. He toured several residential units where he “he learned in detail about the construction plan and supply of building materials.” Pak held a meeting with construction managers and personnel that “discussed issues for fully applying in the construction the important guidelines set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n) in his historic letter to the participants in the great workshop of officials in the construction field.” According to KCNA, “concrete measures were taken so that relevant fields including construction units can push forward the construction and ensure the supply of necessary equipment and building materials on the principle of putting the conveniences of the people above all.”
