DPRK Premier Visits Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and Ch’o’llima Steel Complex

DPRK state media reported on March 26 (Saturday) that Premier Pak Pong Ju (Pak Pong-chu) visited the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex in So’ngrim, North Hwanghae Province and the Ch’o’llima Steel Complex in Namp’o.  Pak toured the steel Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and “encouraged the workers in their drive for hitting an all-time high in the production of Chuch’e iron.”  He held a meeting to consult with managers, functionaries and employees of the iron and steel complex which discussed “matter of upholding the Party Central Committee with increased steel production by learning from the heroic fighting spirit of preceding generations and boosting the steel output.”

Pak toured Ch’o’llima Steel Complex and called for “increasing iron and steel production in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development.”
